Great Mexican Food!

Food was tasty However they put sauce on the bottom of the plate and the tostada and taco were soggy and almost unedible. I had a beef enchilada that maybe had three or four pieces of beef in it I asked a substitute the rice for beans and they said there would be an up charge The customer service there was terrible had to ask for our waitress then asked for the bill and she says I would just get up and pay at the register We will not be going back there

Not very nice looking when you walk in but the food and staff make up for that in no time. Ask for their hotter salsa otherwise you get a bland Illinois style with no heat. Their beans are the best!!!

Always good! The workers there are always on point and courteous. Inexpensive for families.

Ordered takeout lunch here. Busy day - and the staff insisted on answering the telephone before dealing with walk-in clients. In spite of months of COVID isolation and takeout orders, the staff forgot to include napkins and utensils. Not the end of the world, but irritating. Food seemed overly salty to my husband and I. Eh.

I would have given a 5 except for the following issues I thought could be better. The food definitely made up for it. The basket of chips had no liner, so I saw dried up food on the actual basket and lost my appetite for chips at that moment. The wait was not too long for our food but our waitress, although very sweet never came back to refill my drink. They were busy as it was lunch rush and it did not seem to be very organized with the staff. We got our food and had no silverware so we had to wait again to get the busboy to get us a fork and napkin. Food was yummy though. Now 2 days later, I saw what should have been a 28.00 bill is now a 56.00 bill. I was told to go back and show my statement. I live in Phoenix. Double check your bills and account next day.

Best kept secret in AZ!. The food is off the chain great! Great service, retro building and priced exceptionally well! A must for anyone going through Globe! Had the Machaca beef,rice and flour tortillas! Ordered a second to go it was that good!

Home town food Chile Rellenos so good an rice an beans I've been having all my life still the same . I mix my rice an beans together.

If you're looking for a nice authentic Mexican place this is it. It's been here very very long time And based on the food I can see why. Everything was excellent the refried beans was awesome over all the dining experience was very good. Nothing fancy here just good food.

What a cute, historic place in downtown Globe! Our server was awesome! Super attentive and had great recommendations! I tried the machaca taco and bean burrito and both were delicious! We also ordered a cheese crisp that was baked to perfection. The aesthetic was super cool as well! Old tin ceilings, (real) wood paneling on the walls, vintage decor, definitely made me feel like I was transported to a different time!! The only con was no margaritas......but they did have Corona so that was good! They were even served with a lime and frosty mug. Last thing to note is I have a sensitive stomach and am usually pretty cautious about where I eat. We visited there about 5 days ago and I at no point had any stomach ache at all!! Will be back!!

Favorite place in Globe. They accomodated a group of 25 for lunch on Saturday of 4th of July weekend. Lots of split up tickets and it all went very well. Good green chili and fantastic chimichangas. Thanks again for letting us take over nearly half your shop. They have great relations with neighboring businesses and referred the adults to a good watering hole just up the block. Plenty of curbside parking too.

Awesome place to sit and grab a bite to eat. The food is great and also it's located in downtown area, where you can also explore the stores up and down the strip.

I've been coming to this restaurant since about 1971. Made the drive all the way from Phoenix to Globe to have dinner there tonight with my wife. Food was excellent. But the restaurant is definitely going through the end stages of life. Would be super neat to see them remodel the place. Sadly... It hasn't been touched since the 70s. But the food is still super fantastic.

I’m not sure why this place is so highly rated. Two of us ate lunch for $22 and we didn’t want to finish it. The rice wasn’t good, most stuff was fried, the “hot” salsa was mild, and even our tacos had American cheese melted on it.

Good food and large plates for the price. Servers are very attentive.

To get the best Mexican food in the world don't drive south of Phoenix to the border drive East to Miami/Globe AZ. Try a green & bean mixed burro and you will understand the meaning of amazing

La casita is always the first place I stop after a long drive from Oklahoma! 980 miles for a cheese crisp!

I only visit Globe once a year and for some reason have skipped La Casita on my Mexican food rounds. This was my first visit to this restaurant in many years. The place was very busy when we arrived and it took a while before we were given menus etc. However, it was worth the wait. The food was excellent and we will be back.

Bathroom was flooded with an inch of water, food was very bland and was so crowded you couldn't push the chair out without hitting the patron next to you. The resturant had a better atmosphere and the food was better 20 years ago. Was very disappointed.

Food was ok, nothing great. Had it delivered to the irish bar down the street cause of all the covid stuff. It was $40 for 2 of us. No knives just four forks. Had to borrow the bartenders only knife, that was fun. Was given salsa, but didnt have chips. We walked the main strip of Globe after eating and happened to walk by it. Stepped in and asked about the chips. She replies you didnt ask for them on the phone. So evidently you can get salsa without chips, lol. Needless to say they still didnt give us chips. Probably wasnt going to patronize the place again anyways just based on the meh of the food. But to not hand out chips after the fact. Im good, plenty of other options in Globe to try out next time. They were nice but it was like what the what.

My top restaurant to eat at. No joke. I love this place n I have since I can remember. Keep up the good food La Casita staff n I will always return along with friends and family!

Great little place in the heart of Globe Arizona. The service is fast and very friendly. The food was real good. I could of stayed here all day and ate tacos. You have to try this place you won’t be sorry!

Best green chili ever! The food is great, wonderful buttery tortillas. Chips are just ok, but service is good. This must be a favorite place for the locals, people all seem to know each other, a very friendly place. I'm serious about the big bowl of green chili, I travel there from Phoenix just for that.

Out of town visit. They accommodated a group of 30 and rocked the service. The green and red chili is awesome and I don't like red sauce... I had to double check my chimichanga was in fact deep fried. It was, it was just lacking any grease and I loved it.
